So Fernando, Penny and I are definitely going to Paris in March for Fernando's spring break. We are waiting for a response from Vacation in Paris about the apartment and then we'll buy the tickets. Nonstop from Delta or Air France.
Naturally I am trying to immerse myself in all things Paris and naturally beginning with books:
- Paris
- The Piano Shop on the Left Bank
- Hungry for Paris (102 best restaurants - which we probably can't afford so we'll do the shops and markets instead)
- Clotilde's Edible Adventures in Paris
- Markets of Paris
- Paris by Pastry
And Films
- Travel with Kids: Paris (not that we are taking Isabel just yet but it has a tour of the Paris Sewers. Actually it started out well, they took the chunnel from England to Paris but then the DVD got stuck. Too scratched.)
- Forever (A tour of the Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris)
- Impressionists on the Seine
- Paris, je t'aime - I didn't realize that we'd already seen this one
- Six in Paris
- Paris
Speaking of film lists, here are 8 Great Movies for Paris Travelers from Enduring Wanderlust. Not the greatest list so let's try this one from the Alliance Francaise of San Francisco: 20 Films in Paris.
