The first thing you might want to do (or might not) is sign up for newsletters that tell you what is happening in San Diego. Or you can just go to their websites.

And you always have to stop by the libraries to see what is up. Then you will see that the Geisel Library's (as in Dr. Seuss) 40th Anniversary is May 1st. Now, because you work for UCSD does that mean you get a UCSD library card?

And then there is the San Diego Public Library but their website gives me a headache, and their sirsi catalog does too. Sometimes I wonder if I am really a librarian...
