Hans Memling

Anybody interested in Flemish art?

There's an exhibition on Hans Memling (1430-1494) in the Scuderie del Quintinale now through January.  He reminds me of Bruegel (1525-1569), but that just might be the complexity of the above painting rather than the subject matter.  Apparently Memling was popular in Italy and even influenced Raffaello.  The Scuderie is close to the apartment at Via XXIV Maggio 16, Roma but the entrance is 12 euros so we might have to content ourselves with this online website of Hans Memling.
