I just ran across Paris Shopping website from the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau (PCVB). I guess we're missing the January sales but I was just thinking that I need a nice felt hat. My Italian one from Sym's lost its shape in the rain on the Camino. Maybe something along these lines.It also appears, from the ParisInfo.com website, that the Marais is a "trendy" area. Is that good or bad?
